Hale Kamaʻāina Mortgage Program
This program is offered through the Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation (HHFDC)
Primary Residential Mortgage, Inc. (PRMI) is a participating lender.
This is a mortgage program through HHFDC that offers a competitive fixed rate 30-year mortgages and optional down payment assistance loans to eligible buyers.
What is this program?
Applying for this program works the same way as applying for a mortgage whether it’s conventional, VA, FHA, or USDA.
As a participating lender, our PRMI team will walk with you step by step, helping you collect the documents needed so you can move from application to closing with confidence.
How does this work?
A U.S. Citizen or Resident Alien who lives in Hawaiʻi and has not owned a primary residence in the past three years.
